Steel specialises in heavy structural steel — we don't do light-gauge framing, sheet metal, stainless steel, aluminium, or decorative work.

Can you work from my architect or engineer's drawings?
Absolutely — that's how we work. Send us PDF or DWG drawings and our drafters convert them into detailed 3D shop drawings in-house. We work with most Melbourne structural engineering practices and can handle complex drawings that smaller fabricators often struggle with.
Do you supply only, or fabricate and install?
We're fabricator + installer — most clients want the integrated package because we handle delivery scheduling, on-site welding, and final positioning. We don't sell raw steel sections (we're not a steel supplier) — what we deliver is fabricated, ready-to-install structural components. Supply-only fabrication available where the client has their own installation crew.
What steel grades do you commonly fabricate with?
300PLUS (AS/NZS 3679.1 Grade 300) for most structural work, Grade 350 for higher-strength requirements, and specialty grades on request including galvanised options for coastal Melbourne or weather-exposed work.
